What is it?
Microdermabrasion is a light mechanical exfoliation where a slightly abrasive diamond tip is attached to a vacuum suction tube. It’s then used to gently scrub off any debris, oils and dead skin sitting on the surface of the skin. Great treatment to de-puff the skin and help with lymphatic drainage.
Who is it for?
Majority skin types can undergo this treatment. Perfect treatment for pre-event preparation!
What happens during the treatment?
We start off with a cleanse and disinfecting the skin. Client will feel a faint vacuum suction tube gliding across their skin (feels quite nice).
Contraindications
- Active acne present.
- Extremely dry, sensitive or reactive skin.
- Rosacea skin types.
- Active cold sores and/or broken skin.
- Certain medications such as Accutane, antibiotics, blood thinners and ongoing Aspirin use.

- Precare – A clinical consultation to set realistic expectations and outcomes of the treatment.
- Postcare – No postcare is needed for this treatment however it’s recommended to keep out of direct sunlight for 24 hours. Always wear sunscreen.
